Rules & tips for Turkey

What you should know before your trip – based on official sources, as of October 2026.

Blue Card: waste water & waste

Turkey tracks waste from yachts and boats digitally via the Ministry of Environment's “Blue Card” system. Waste must be disposed of within 48 hours of docking, and violations are fined. Charter boats usually carry the Blue Card – ask for a briefing on waste disposal at check-in.
